The #1 Reason why Colorado is better than Utah
Moab is hot. No, not just hot... it's like a freakin' furnace! Yeah, and I live in Phoenix. Moab was WAY hotter than Phoenix for some strange reason. Okay, maybe it wasn't so strange... it might have been the fact that we were out hiking on the red rocks of Arches National Park at high-noon, without water, and I had my shirt off. Either way, it was still hot... felt like 116 F. (is there an equivalent expression for heat, like BRRRR is for cold?) So anyway, here we are... so glad to be back in a place where it is green, there is water, and we aren't burning our flesh by standing out in the sun. Looking forward to meeting up with new people as we approach New Mexico & Arizona! :)
