Road Trip Music – What Tunes Do You Love?

There are very few things that beat an awesome road trip packed with great music!

(even fewer that can be written about on this PG-13 rated blog…:) lol)

As we approach the start of the 2010 cross-country Social Media Adventure, I am finding the need for some new tunes… The old ones are classic, but now this is a new adventure with new places & new faces, and therefore some new tunes are needed!

Take a peek at my blip channel to see what I’m listening to nowadays: http://blip.fm/JosephRanseth

Well…. What’s in your iPod?

I will give a super special shout out to whoever comments with a song that makes the cut!

Even better, why not blip it to me? :)

    YAY SMA2010!!!
Here’s a small mix from the artists in my “road-trip playlist” on my iPod: I tried to stay away from what’s already on (your) Joseph’s Blip.fm and from what is standard road music-we all have Hotel California and Margaritaville (I think lol!). For me its important to have a mix that doesn’t get me strung out on One emotion-to have a range from fun upbeat to hard core for night travel, songs to sing to, and songs that just cruise and are a backdrop to the beautiful drive. I realize, yes, this list has vintage at its core lol! Also aside from playlists, one Definitely needs several full length CD’s if you’re not using an mp3 player right? I’m looking forward to other replies and expanding my iTunes also! Hope you find a few new favorites, or uncover old favorites, from this Joseph!

Jane, you are a gem… I am going to make a new mix from a bunch of these. So many that I haven't heard yet!

Somehow I figured that you'd be a Pearl Jam fan, so glad to see Alive on there. :)

  • @Janluv

Awesome! Thanks! Curious what's new for you that you'll like?!? :) And I could have made a playlist under each artist, and more,…so hard to limit it but I tried. Hope it brings to mind other songs you've loved and forgotten (if you have a brain like mine :) Ciao!
