Wow, Moab was HOT!
After a fantastic time in Salt Lake City & Provo, we took the Social Media Adventure to Southern Utah to visit Moab and Arches National Park. We were so sticky by the time we arrived in Moab… I don’t think it ever cools off there! It was still 95 degrees at midnight by the time we checked into the hotel.

Delicate Arch
This would be a great time to to give a super big shout out to Heidi, the awesome front desk lady who was AMAZING at virtually EVERYTHING! She singled-handedly covered the front desk with a huge line-up of nearly a dozen people, organized a late-night pizza party for some non-english speaking guests and took calls from what seemed to be from another country! Not only did she do all that with grace & enthusiasm, she gave us a way sweet discount!
The next day brought our adventure into Arches National Park… what an amazing place!

Water break... lol
One of the cool things we did was climbed out onto a huge precipice to get a good shot of Delicate Arch. Thankfully the wind didn’t blow us away.
I also tried to catch a bird on my finger, but for some reason it didn’t quite work. Must have been the breeze? lol
Unfortunately we didn’t shoot any video… the extreme heat and lack of water must have gotten to our brains because we totally forgot.
What we did get, though, was totally awesome – Tamara was shooting pics through the sunroof while we meandered through the whole park! Check out all of the pics on the flickr album.
